Healthy options are always on offer for children regardless of the time of day. All food is prepared from fresh ingredients where possible with no added salt or sugar. Meals and snacks are balanced and healthy.
Breakfast: Cereal (porridge, weetabix, cornflakes, rice krispies etc) with milk.
Snacks: fresh fruit, dried fruit, breadsticks, cheese cubes, toast, plain biscuits.
Afternoon snacks: malt loaf, cheese on toast, fruit tea cake & butter, breadsticks & dips, cheese and pepper sticks, chopped fruit & raisins, crumpets etc
Drinks: water, juice, milk (not formula).
The below shows an example of a weekly menu that I provide;
- Mild chilli with rice, fruit salad
- Cheese/tuna/chicken/egg sandwiches, fromage frais
- Spaghetti Bolognaise and garlic bread, fresh melon
- Salmon pasta, banana custard
Vegetarian options or specific dietary needs can be catered for upon request.
